Advancing the SEMANTIC BUG HUNTER – A TRUSCOVA Project Supported by EFRE

TRUSCOVA is proud to further develop its innovative cybersecurity tool, the SEMANTIC BUG HUNTER, with support from the European Regional Development Fund (EFRE) as part of the funding program of the State of Bremen for the period 2021–2027.
The aim of this project is to evolve the SEMANTIC BUG HUNTER from a prototype into a fully usable and market-ready product. Designed for blockchain security reviews, the tool is currently at Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 6. Its core system has already been developed and validated through targeted bug bounty competitions.
With this funding, TRUSCOVA aims to reach TRL 9, ensuring the SEMANTIC BUG HUNTER is ready for commercial use, i.e., fully functional, deployable in real-world environments, and equipped with the necessary support infrastructure. The final product will enable efficient and precise detection of vulnerabilities in smart contracts and other blockchain-based applications.
The project runs from January 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026.
The project is co-financed with €149,956.80 from the EFRE program.

Weiterentwicklung des SEMANTIC BUG HUNTER – Ein TRUSCOVA-Projekt mit EFRE-Förderung

TRUSCOVA entwickelt derzeit mit Unterstützung des Europäischen Fonds für regionale Entwicklung (EFRE) im Rahmen des Förderprogramms des Landes Bremen (Förderperiode 2021–2027) das innovative Cybersicherheitswerkzeug SEMANTIC BUG HUNTER weiter.
Ziel des Projekts ist es, den SEMANTIC BUG HUNTER von einem Prototyp zu einem voll nutzbaren und marktreifen Produkt weiterzuentwickeln. Das Tool, das für Sicherheitsprüfungen von Blockchain-Anwendungen konzipiert ist, befindet sich aktuell auf Technologiereifegrad (TRL) 6. Der Kern wurde bereits entwickelt und durch gezielte Bug-Bounty-Wettbewerbe erfolgreich validiert.
Dank der Förderung soll der TRL 9 erreicht werden – damit wird das Produkt einsatzbereit für den realen Markt: voll funktionsfähig, in praktischen Umgebungen nutzbar und mit allen notwendigen Unterstützungsstrukturen ausgestattet. Der SEMANTIC BUG HUNTER wird damit eine effiziente und präzise Erkennung von Sicherheitslücken in Smart Contracts und anderen Blockchain-Anwendungen ermöglichen.
Das Projekt läuft vom 1. Januar 2025 bis zum 30. Juni 2026.
Das Vorhaben wird mit 149.956,80 Euro aus dem EFRE-Programm kofinanziert.
